Xeomin Injectable Filler

XEOMIN (incobotulinumtoxinA) Injectable Filler, is a prescription medicine that is injected directly into muscles and is used to temporarily improve the look of moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows (glabellar lines) in adults.

How Does XEOMIN Work?

XEOMIN dermal injections block the nerve transmissions from nerve endings to the targeted facial muscles, which will help in reducing the wrinkles on the skin. As with other types of botulinum treatments, such as BOTOX, XEOMIN prevents muscles from contracting. However, unlike older botulinum treatments, XEOMIN contains no additives, which may decrease a patient’s risk of an allergic reaction.

These injections take approximately 15 minutes, and your results are usually visible after five to seven days.

Patients may sometimes experience redness, bruising or swelling at the injection site. However, these are temporary and should disappear after a couple of days. Follow-up treatments are recommended usually about every six months to maintain optimal results.
